Meet Our President

Tyrone "Woody" Woodyard

Woody Woodyard has been a trusted C-suite strategic communications advisor from the Pentagon to corporate boardrooms for decades. He led Lockheed Martin, Sikorsky, and Pratt & Whitney through daunting business challenges high stakes reputational crises and launched campaigns that transformed culture and accelerated business growth.
 

As founder of FountainAvenue Strategies, Woody aligned his expertise and passion for talent development with a single-minded purpose…empowering clients to succeed. Whether preparing students to enter the workforce, guiding military members through civilian transitions, or positioning career professionals for advancement. He instills confidence and develops tailored strategies to help clients thrive in their careers. 

Woody has decades of leadership development experience coaching and mentoring students, veterans, working professionals and corporate executives. 


A retired military and senior corporate executive, he is known and highly respected for his unique ability to identify and develop talent, maximize potential and build high-performing teams.

 

Woody is a graduate of Syracuse University, University of Maryland College Park, National Defense University Industrial College of the Armed Forces and the University of Virginia Executive Business Program.
